Refund Policy
1. Overview
We want you to be satisfied with your VPN Pro Plan subscription. This policy explains your refund rights depending on how you purchased your subscription.
2. Purchases via Our Website (processed by Paddle)
We offer refunds under the following conditions:
- Monthly Plan ($5.99/month): You may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. The refund amount will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, meaning you will be refunded only for the unused portion of the current billing period.
- Annual Plan ($29.99/year): You may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. The refund amount will be calculated on a pro-rata basis for the unused portion of the subscription period.
- Renewals: Refunds are not available for renewal charges. Please cancel your subscription before the renewal date to avoid being charged. You will retain access until the end of the paid period.
To request a refund for a web purchase, contact us at support@libreguard.net with your registered email address and order details. We aim to respond within 2 business days. Refunds are processed through Paddle and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
3. Purchases via Google Play
If you subscribed through the Google Play Store, your purchase is subject to Google Play's refund policy in addition to our policy.
- Within 48 hours of purchase, you may request a refund directly through Google Play.
- After 48 hours, you may contact us directly at support@libreguard.net and we will review your request. Approved refunds will be processed on a pro-rata basis for the unused portion of your subscription period, in accordance with applicable law.
- We are unable to process Google Play refunds through our website — they must go through Google Play or directly through us as the developer.
EU and EEA customers purchasing via Google Play retain their 14-day statutory right of withdrawal under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, regardless of Google's standard 48-hour window.
4. EU & EEA Customers — Statutory Rights
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of your initial purchase, regardless of the platform used. Refunds under this right will be calculated on a pro-rata basis for any portion of the service already used during the withdrawal period.
This right applies to your first subscription purchase. It does not apply to subscription renewals.
5. When Refunds Are Not Available
We do not offer refunds in the following cases:
- Subscription renewal charges (cancel before renewal to avoid charges)
- Requests made after the 14-day refund window
- Accounts found to be in violation of our Terms of Service
- Repeated refund requests that suggest abuse of this policy
6. Cancellations
Cancelling your subscription stops future charges but does not automatically trigger a refund. To cancel, go to your account settings or manage your subscription through Google Play. You will retain access to the service until the end of your current paid period.
